Randy Milligan, singer, songwriter and musician has been performing in
Western New York and Southern Ontario since 1980. In addition to solo endeavors,
he has been an integral member of numerous bands such as Jackie and the
Numchucks and Naked City, along with many duo’s and trio’s. Over the years, he
has opened for many notable artists including Dave Mason, founder of the rock
band Traffic, Aztec Two Step and for Jesse Jackson on his Presidential bid tour.
He has been honored with several Buffalo Music Awards during the course of his
career. In 1988, he was presented as Top Duo with former partner, Polla Milligan
and has been named Top Solo Artist in 1993, 1994 and 1995.
Randy’s talent, creativity and passion for music can be heard in his original
works. In December 2004, his CD “Forty Long Years” was released. This was the
first compilation of Randy’s own music. Currently, a second CD is being
developed, titled “Walking on My Heart” with a soon to be announced release
date.
Besides fulfilling his dedication for music as a solo artist, Randy also
currently performs with the band Heard of Buffalo. Other members include Michael
Skowronski, Phil Conroy and Rick Schmitt. The Heard of Buffalo can be seen in a
variety of combinations of members such as A Third of a Heard with Randy, Mike
and Phil, or duo act (Half A Heard) with Randy and Mike.
In addition to heartfelt vocals, Randy’s ability extends to guitar, harmonica
and mandolin. Randy can be seen in an array of venues including public, private
and business engagements.
