Randy
Milligan nominated for Top Solo Artist 2005
Randy
Milligan (vocals/
guitar/ harmonica/ mandolin)
Randy is a seasoned performer who has been playing the local club scene since 1980 and has made it a full time gig since ’85. He
is best known for his vocals, harmonica and rhythm guitar playing; these three
things have made him a strong solo act over the years. He has won numerous
Buffalo Music Awards, three for Top Soloist in 1993, ’94 and ’95, one with
his old partner Polla Milligan for Top Duo in 1988. He was runner-up to Tim
Wright for Top Soloist for a couple of years in the early ‘90’s and has been
nominated every year for the past twenty in at least one category in the
B.M.A.’s. He has opened for such notable performers as Dave Mason, Aztec Two
Step and The LA Blues Busters and many other less notables. He has recently
released an all-original cd “Forty Long Years” and is presently working on
his second cd “ Walking On My Heart”. He is also releasing a live cd called
